Dear Friends,
On March 19, 2007, we lost one of the founding members of the band due to a tragic work related accident. Scott Sunkimat was a great friend and musician. He will be missed terribly. It would be a great disservice to him if the band were to give up on creating the music he loved. So we will continue. Soon thereafter, Casey and his wife Kathleen added a beautiful baby girl to thier family and Casey thought it was in everyones best interest for him to step down as our drummer. After several months, John and Chris teamed up with drummer Mike Flores (bassist for The Salt Water All-Stars) and have been writing great new music. We are looking for a for a writer/vocalist for the new project. We decided not to call the band Disgruntled Postal Workers and are in the process of of choosing a name. In a somewhat of a bizarre twist, Casey is now the new drummer of The Salt Water All-Stars. A little weird, but very cool. Look them up on MySpace.com for their dates. More updates to follow. Thanks.
